Outdoor Service Continues

There will be two canopy tents, each located on the east and west side of the parking lot close to building. Chairs will be set up so that people can practice social distancing and be safe. As always you can stay in your vehicle if you so desire.

WHY WE NEED REVIVAL NOW

Name something that is an internal spark which produces a positive outward action? Any idea? The answer is “revival.” When God’s presence is manifest in an individual’s life good comes about. Real change and abundant life is experienced when God revives a soul.

Historically, revivals come after a moral decline in society. I believe America is in need of revival. Americans have more liberty, more money, more mobility and more freedom than any other nation that has ever existed. And yet in the last few years our nation has become more divided than at any other time. The unrest and turmoil in the land is because we are experiencing a civil war for morality. Just a glance in the news and one reads of racial tension, political division, sexual perversion, governmental misconduct, selfish ambition and spiritual confusion.

In the New Testament book of Romans, the author Paul in chapter 8 verses 2 through 6 reveals how revival will bring about the healing and hope we are looking for; “Through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering … The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.” (New International Version)

Revival comes to a nation when God reigns in the life of its people. It starts when you and I say this prayer from our hearts to God: “Heavenly Father, I come to you in Jesus’ name. I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that Your Son Jesus died on the cross for my sins and rose from the grave to give me life. I know Jesus is the only way to God so now I want to quit disobeying You and start living for You. Please forgive me, change my life and show me how to know You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

If you prayed that prayer, God heard every word and has forgiven you of your sins and revived your soul. But this event is just the beginning of your new life. Now that you have put your trust in Jesus or rededicated your life to Him, you should know who He is. Acquire a Bible and begin reading the Book of John. Along with that begin attending a Bible-believing church and continue talking to God. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

God bless,

Pastor Tom

P.S. Keep praying for revival!
